Feline body language lets you know if your cat’s a happy camper. Eyes, ears, tail, and posture all tip-off your tabby’s mood.

When Fluffy’s happy and alert, you’ll likely see an upright posture with head held high, ears pointing forward, and whiskers relaxed. A still, raised tail and eyes with slit-like pupils are others signs your furry feline’s feeling fine.

A relaxed kitty may sprawl on her side or back, and slowly blink her eyes, or perhaps she’ll stretch her spine, throw back her head, and indulge in a good yawn. Kneading with paws is a throwback to kitten years. Its rhythmic movement is usually accompanied with purring, and sends a clear signal that your cat’s inner kitty is content.
